We celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi and First Holy Communion for three children of Sacred Heart Church, beginning with a procession of the Blessed Sacrament, with children scattering rose petals.
We will be having a Blessed Sacrament procession again to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi and also the First Holy Communion for the children of Sacred Heart Wadhurst. We will gather in the far end of the garden and the children are invited to join the procession and scatter rose petals.
PENTECOST Sunday 24 May : Join us with prayers in different languages at our 9AM Mass, followed by a selection of specially themed cakes; wear red if possible. Painting by Christine one of our parishioners
Father Raymond celebrated a Mass for baby and child loss arranged by the Wadhurst and Mayfield Ministry of Consolation. Parishioners were invited to light candles in memory of loved ones and some names were read out and displayed alongside the candlestand beautifully decorated by some of our flower ladies.
All wecome to join in this Mass as we come together to seek comfort in the Lord’s healing embrace and support all affected by loss of children of any age. Followed by refreshments.
