At our reconciliation service today Fr Raymond told us that God’s mercy is given to everyone who asks because love is his nature; we layed our stones, representing the burdens of sin at the foot of the cross.
Reconciliation Service Sacred Heart Sunday 22nd March 5pm. Prayers, readings and music with opportunity for confession in readiness for Easter.
Today is Laetare Sunday as well as a day to celebrate our mothers, an opportunity to relax our Lenten observance and rejoice that Easter is not far off. Mass 9AM Sacred Heart 11AM Mayfield convent.
The Big Lent Walk: A group of 17 parishioners from Wadhurst and Mayfield met at Bedgebury Aboretum this Saturday to walk 5km for the Big Lent Walk bringing our total to 85km.
