Third Sunday of Advent: this Sunday we will celebrate Gaudate Sunday, the mid-point in the Season of Advent, patiently waiting and rejoicing that the Lord’s coming is near! We light a pink candle and have pink/rose coloured vestments . Join us for Mass at 9am.

Christmas and New Year Services. The following Masses are planned over the Christmas and New Year Period:
Christmas Eve. Carols at 5.45pm followed by Mass at 6pm at Sacred Heart.
Christmas Carols starting at 8.30pm in the Mayfield School Chapel. Midnight Mass will start at 9pm.
After Mass all are invited to mulled wine and minced pies in the School Courtyard.
Christmas Day. Sacred Heart Mass will be at 9am and Mayfield Mass will be in the School Chapel at
11am.
Boxing Day. Mass at Sacred Heart starting at 10am.
Sunday 28th December. Mass at normal times in both churches
Feast Day of St Thomas of Canterbury Mass 29th December. There will be a Sung Mass in St Thomas’s at
10am with the Organ Choir to celebrate the feast day of St Thomas of Canterbury.
31st December. Midnight Mass starting at 11pm at Sacred Heart.
New Year’s Day Mass. Mass at Sacred Heart at 10am

On Saturday evening we were treated to a delightful piano concert of music by Debussy, Faure and Gershwin played by Steve Law. Huge thanks to Steve and his wife Lorna for such a lovely evening and for raising funds for Sacred Heart Church.
